Dangerous Ishqq (D. Ishqq) is another film that made me to think for a while. This time, it is not the story or the screenplay, which made me to think about the movie. But it is the dialogues which made to go back to my school days. Instead of mentioning it as dialogues, it would be precise, if I mention words chosen for the dialogues.
My second language in school was Tamil, my regional language. However, I learnt Hindi separately for couple of years, going to classes everyday in the evening. I did not get a chance to use Hindi in my home town until I came to Pune. It was more than a decade, I was in touch with Hindi. So it was little difficult during initial days, though. Now, I don't say, I am fluent, but I can definitely say, I can understand and make others understand.
After the usage of English and influence of western culture over us, the usage of regional words is day by day reducing. This is just not perception as it can be seen and experienced by anybody.
Of the recent Hindi movies, I have seen, D. Ishqq has used very good poetic words. During the initial 10 minutes itself, this could be felt and I was just telling my friend in the theater. This is really good and I liked this very much. Then in the entire movie, some of the words were not picked up from the regular spoken slang. When the story scrolled back to 1947, 16th century, 15th century, it was obvious on the words used. However, I could not understand some of the words in the movie. Since, I could make out the words on the broader perceptive, I loved the movie especially for the words chosen for the dialogues.
This re-iterates only one to me. We are moving away from our traditional language. I mean most of us are moving away from our respective regional language. I made it a practice to use maximum number of Tamil words when I talk to my parents, relatives and my friends.
Coming back to the movie, the 3D effect is awesome. After "The adventures of Tin Tin", this is the 3D movie, where the effect could be really appreciated. I compare the effects with respect to the same theater. I, most of the times, see movies in only one complex.
After seeing first 10 minutes, my friend told me that there is a Hollywood movie where the story is similar to D. Ishqq story line. However, I enjoyed the story.
On the whole, the movie can be seen for 3D effects and Karishma acting!
Welcome back Karishma!!
